Clear Guidance Giving You Confidence in Important Decisions

People seek out estate planning for clarity and peace of mind. You may be wondering: Who will take care of my family? What happens to what I’ve built? Who can step in if I can’t make decisions myself? You don’t have to figure this out alone.
At its core, estate planning focuses on three key areas:
-
What happens to your assets after you pass away, who receives them and how.
-
Who makes financial and medical decisions for you if you cannot, and how you want those decisions handled.
-
How your children, animals, or other dependents will be cared for, and by whom.
Every situation is unique. Whether your priorities surround young children, aging parents, a business, your animals, or creating a solid process for loved ones who will step in to help, we guide you through your options so you can make informed, practical, and confident decisions.
How We Help
We are your coach, teacher, and partner. We listen. We take the time to understand your goals, your family, and what matters most to you. From there, we:
-
Identify potential issues and opportunities
-
Explain your options in clear, practical terms
-
Help you design a thoughtful plan that works in real life, not just on paper
Our approach is thoughtful and thorough. We help you create a strategy that is tailored, practical, and built to support you and your family. By the end of this process, you will feel confident not only in your plan, but in how it works and how to maintain it over time.
Our Process
We follow a structured but approachable process that keeps things moving without feeling rushed. Most clients complete their initial estate planning papers within 4–8 weeks. We schedule each step in advance so you always know what comes next and can make steady progress.
What You Receive
You will walk away with a clear, organized “playbook” for you and your loved ones, including:
-
Core legal documents such as a will, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
-
Guidance for caring for children or other dependents
-
A structured summary of your assets, contacts, and key information
-
Practical tools for you to build on this foundation and keep your plan updated and effective over time
-
For clients who elect to plan with trusts, help and guidance with “funding”
Just as important as the resulting physical papers, you and your family gain an ongoing relationship with a trusted advisor who understands your situation and can support you and your family as life evolves. You are building a new and critical habit when you begin estate planning. When your plans and asset structures need review and updates, we are here to support you in that process.
Investment
The investment in estate planning reflects the knowledge, time, care we devote to helping you make confident, informed decisions. Beyond the financial cost, clients consistently tell us the greatest value is the confidence and peace of mind that comes from knowing everything is in order, how to keep it that way, and that they and their family have us to turn to for guidance as life changes.
Most single individuals invest between $3,000 and $5,000, and most married couples between $4,000 and $6,000, to complete the initial estate planning process, depending on complexity. Most clients can expect that their investment will be in the lower half of those ranges if they do not own businesses, do not own real estate outside of Colorado, and do not have beneficiaries with special needs. For our clients who may have those additional considerations, more complex family dynamics, or are approaching estate sizes of $15 million or more, the investment is commensurately higher due to additional planning considerations, such as business planning, asset protection, and potential need for estate tax planning.
You do not need to have all the answers to begin. We are here to guide you, support you, and help you put a thoughtful plan in place for the people and things you care about most. We love what we do, and we love working with our clients. Believe it or not, estate planning can be fun! (Yes, clients have told us they had fun in this process.) It is also freeing.
